The term Decorative Finishes, covers a wide range of finishes that can be applied to make any job that extra bit special. Here are two areas we specialise in:
Wide Vinyl Coverings are not an easy job and hanging new wallpaper can be a difficult thing to do and while it can dramatically change the look of your room, it’s often best to get the professionals in to do the job right. At JW McNulty we can wallpaper a variety of spaces – hotels, restaurants, shops and offices, from whole decoration schemes to a single feature wall, no job is too big or too small.
What we do:
We’ve hung many different types of wall coverings over the years and have worked out the best way to manage all surfaces and type of coatings, so you can be sure that all work carried out by ourselves will be of the highest quality.

The term ‘Polished Plaster’ covers a whole range of decorative plaster finishes—from the very highly polished Venetian plaster and Marmorino to the rugged look of textured polished plasters. Polished plaster itself tends to consist of slaked lime, marble dust, and/or marble chips, which give each plaster its distinctive look. A lime-based polished plaster may contain over 40% of marble powder.
Polished plaster is mainly used internally, on walls and ceilings, to give a finish that looks like polished marble, travertine, or limestone. Such plasters are usually applied over a primer and basecoat base, from one to four layers. They are finished with a specialised steel trowel to a smooth glass-like sheen. Polished plaster is usually sealed with a protective layer of wax. With that amount of work and expertise involved, a contract like this should only be handled by a team of experts like McNulty’s.
